We visited the Brankin family farm for week 25 of the Parish Draw. We met Gabriel, his niece Anna, nephew Sean and their family dog Massey at their Pumpkin Patch. Gabriel and his little helpers were about to harvest the Pumpkin’s for market.
The Brankin farm is located at the Lough shore with breath taking views of Lough Neagh. The Brankin’s continue the family tradition of farming that has taken place over many generations. They are Market Gardeners supplying markets in Belfast and Lisburn with a wide range of produce including soup vegetables, sprouts, cucumbers, and tomatoes.
Gabriel selected the numbers, and the winners were Jonathan McAtamney £500 (Glenavy), £100 Patrick & Helena Burns (Crumlin) and £50 Trea Clenaghan (Ballinderry Upper), Congratulations to our winners.
